Granma Cuba

Granma is one of the five eastern provinces, a destination that combines history, culture, and stunning natural landscapes. This territory is home to key historical sites, such as the Plaza de la Revolución in Bayamo, where the Cuban National Anthem was proclaimed, and the Birthplace Museum of Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, leader of the Cuban independence movement.

Granma is home to the imposing Sierra Maestra, Cuba's highest mountain range, which includes Pico Turquino, the highest point in the country at 1,974 meters above sea level. It's ideal for expeditions, hikes, panoramic views, and exploring the historic refuges of the revolutionaries. The province also boasts the Desembarco del Granma National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with impressive cliffs and unique ecosystems.

Although its location doesn't feature Cuba's most renowned beaches, Playa Las Coloradas is famous for its natural beauty and connection to revolutionary history. Its traditional towns, such as Manzanillo, are known for their colonial architecture and vibrant cultural life. In rural areas, visitors can enjoy authentic experiences such as coffee production and local cuisine.
